Adding a patient or making a recommendation is easy with Wellevate®! Simply log in and click on the “Add Patient” button. You will be prompted to enter their first name, last name and email address. They will receive an invitation via email to sign up for the site and place their order for any recommendations.
If you have chosen the Open Access patient registration method, you may simply provide patients with your dispensary URL to register. Choosing Open Access eliminates the need for individual patient invitations and bulk imports. Your dispensary URL is located under Account Settings > Dispensary > Patient Options.
How do I add the Dispensary Button to my website?
On your Dispensary page, directly below your chosen button, you’ll see “Copy HTML Code”. Clicking on that button will automatically copy the embedded HTML button that will redirect your patients to your dispensary. (Please note: Pasting this code into a browser search bar will not work—you will get an error messaging noting an invalid address.)
To use the copied URL, paste the code into the content management system you use to make visual changes to your website (e.g. pages editor, WordPress). This will copy the button image and dispensary link, which will let your patients access your dispensary to log in or register, depending on your dispensary’s access setting.
Invite Only vs. Open Access
You have two patient registration options for your Wellevate® dispensary:
Choose Invite Only if you prefer to limit access to your dispensary to only patients that you invite.
Once your patients have registered, patients can log in from “Your Dispensary Link”.
- OR -
Choose Open Access to allow your patients to register for your dispensary without being invited. Please note Open Access will allow anyone to register and log in to your dispensary.
Share “Your Dispensary Link” with your patients so they can register and log in to your dispensary.
To find and update your settings look under “Account Settings”, click on “Dispensary”, select “Patient Options” and view the section called “Patient Access Options".
Importing Patients in Bulk
If you have multiple patients you’d like to share Wellevate® with, you can import a bulk CSV (comma separated values) file of your patients rather than inviting patients individually. Patients will still receive an email invitation to register their accounts, and you’ll save time!
Email your CSV file to email@example.com and we'll validate your patient's email addresses and send them an invite within 2 business days! The file must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a CSV file
- Must be less than 5MB
- Must have the headings: first_name, last_name, email
